The Tour de Limpopo – which will be staged in Limpopo from 22-26 April 2018 – has taken literally many man hours to plan and prepare and an even greater number of hours to present and manage. An event like this is not possible without the vision and support of our financial partners and sponsors.
Cycling South Africa wishes to extend a special thank you to Limpopo Tourism Agency, for making the event a distinct possibility.

Challenging route awaits Tour de Limpopo pro teams
Less than 12 months ago, the idea of holding a high status cycling race in the Limpopo province was a tourism concept of Limpopo Tourism Agency, but in a very short space of time, they – in partnership with Cycling South Africa – have set the ‘stage’ for an acclaimed four-day tour which is tipped to showcase the best of what the Limpopo province has to offer.
The Limpopo Tourism Agency website is currently being upgraded and as such we apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Members of the media, Ladies and gentlemen,
13 December 2017 - Chairperson of The LTA Board, Mr Andrew Dipela, Board members, staff, media, distinguished guests, tourism friends, Thobela, Avuxeni, Aa, good afternoon.
Let’s remove our blinkers for a moment and try to view Polokwane for what it is – a tourist destination and an impeccable province that deserves a lengthy visit this festive season.
Capetonians, bless them, have been a little smelly recently. The water-deprived residents have been walking about with unwashed hair as they’re restricted to two-minute showers – and that’s on a good day – and their town doesn’t smell so good either, City Press noted on a trip last week.
The festive period is once again upon us. This is the time when families come together after a long period of separation to celebrate the season. It is also the moment during which all people across religious beliefs display a gesture of generosity by giving to loved ones and those in need. This is a very important time when people should embrace one another across their religious beliefs as a people.
